Stock Option Expensing

The ASC 718 is an audit report for companies that issue equity as a form of compensation (e.g most start ups.) Initially this was a complex 3 part workflow where users had return several times to complete the process.

In the second iteration, our team streamlined the feature by taking in all the required information upfront, calculating, and then notifying the user upon completion of the report.

In doing so, we simplified the user experience dramatically and cut their wait time in half. I was the lead UX/UI designer for the project. Learn more
