Small businesses, especially blue-collar ones, struggle to keep employees. They can't offer stock options. Share Willow helps them create bonus and incentive plans that align everyone's goals. The co-founders had designed the product themselves and it didn't have a real structure for end users. The biggest challenge was making a simple flow for people who aren't always on a computer.

I built a prototype that sales could use immediately while I partnered with a rebrand agency to standardize colors and typography. Once the brand was locked, I built a component system that they're still using today — icons, primitives, and common components.

Plan Builder

When I joined, they had a simple flow that only handled basic incentive structures, limiting who they could onboard. I rebuilt the plan builder from the ground up to support complex incentive structures as well as bespoke plans that could be wired up manually on the backend.

The builder covers payout cadence, performance thresholds, and distribution formulas. I designed a flow that could be completed in under 10 minutes, explaining unfamiliar terminology to users who had never set up these structures before.

Employees log in, see where they stand on their plan, and get projected payouts. People should know how their work turns into money.
